Jazlyn's Care Package
Our agency called us a few weeks ago and told us we could send Jazlyn a care package. So we began to brainstorm what we should send her... On Friday, March 4th we went to the U.S. Post Office, where we were able to send the package off, it included:
- A teddy bear the boys made at Build-A-Bear, in which they named "Jazzy". It's complete with a dress, hair bows and a special message (the boys each recorded a message, so when she pushes Jazzy's hands she will hear their sweet voices)!
- A letter we wrote to her (that was translated into Chinese) for the care takers to read to her daily.
- A picture album of our family (The care takers will show her this album daily as well).
- A disposable camera (The care takers will take pictures of her and give us the camera when we arrive at the orphanage).
- Clothing for her.
- A blanket & toys.
- Snack foods for her and the other children.
- Snacks for the care takers.
It should take 6-10 days to arrive to her in China. We were really excited to be able to do this for her and we cannot wait to bring her home.
